PORQUE NO HAY TURISMO MEXICANO EN ESTE HOTEL?
-
just returned on the 11th, When we arrived on the 28 of January 2010 the beach was closed. No one was allowed on and work was being done all day and all night. Went to sleep with the noise of machinery and woke up to it for three days. It was then opened with mesh fencing making a path to the water. Further down the beach you could still see them working. This went on all the way to Playa del Carmen. The water is extremely rough and cloudy. Not good for snorkel lovers.

Watch your towel. They are like gold. They might put you in jail if you do not return it. Lol... Great time!!!

What a shame it's all now been eroded away!
I was there in Jan 2007 and returned in February 2008 to find a lot of the beach has gone!

You are so right, we have video of before and after the hurricane on YouTube, the change south of the resort is unbelivable. Sad.

Not too sure, we didn't get back there yet. We have heard though, that they are doing what they can - sand bags, pumping sand up at night.
