  • Does someone know how I can get a CD recording of Blondel?

  • This video clip was taken from the company archive filming of the show, so whilst it exists (as it does for most shows), the whole thing was never released publicly, As far as cast recordings go, the 1970s one is the only one that was issued, although you probably need to hunt around eBay for a copy of it on CD.

  • I would suggest getting a sound ripper from the net. Coverting the other file from the dress rehearsal on YouTube of the while show. It will be in one big MP3 file but better than nothing

  • I'm trying to acquire a copy from somewhere too. If you find one please post details on here.

  • Can anyone suggest where I could get a hold of a cast recording CD/download?

  • I love the old LP of the 1970s original cast - even without images the story is vividly painted by the words - it's fabulous!

  • Auditioned for this show years ago, offered the part of King John. Sadly, the production never went ahead. Very overlooked musical by Stephen Oliver and Tim Rice with a wonderful message. Running Back For More is one of my favourite songs fom the musical.

  • @Julybabie4 Does she have a version on youtube??

  • Was this televised? Or is there a DVD of it? Because I notice at the end that black screen comes up saying "Act 2"?

  • Wow. I saw this in the eighties in Manchester . I loved it but it got panned by the critics and didn't last long. This is a beautiful song tho
