I do remember this pageant... Italy won... and I remember thinking then "which one is the mother and which one is the daughter"?

I can't believe someone found/has/uploaded this. I remember watching this with my mom when I was 9. It was amazing (in all it's 1980's corny, fantastic-ness). Loved the Italy pair and how ... interesting they were. They were deserving winners. I also remember really liking US Virgin Isl. pair and Norway. Finding this just made my night, people.

I also had this tape - it was a real scream, so disgustingly full of syrup and hollywood fake emotions. Everyone watching it laughed or puked. The funniest thig is in the end when the Italian mother almost push her daughter away - she never even looks at her! - when smiling and wawing at the audience, thinking she is a real star who made it all alone. Hilarious!
