Hi, basically they want to remove the cyst whilst keeping the ovary so that fertility isn't compromised. You see them excise the cyst from the ovary by removing the membrane surrounding it. They then place it in a plastic bag so that if when they remove it from the body it ruptures the contents won't spill into the abdominal cavity. They then create an incision in the abdomen (which looks like a black hole) and pull the cyst out. - Medical student.
