Back to School: How to do a bob hair cut with weave hair tutorial pt.1

In this hair tutorial I show you how to do your own hair in a bob. The steps are pretty easy and detailed to make it easier for you to accomplish a nice looking bob. You may use this same technique with your real hair or with weave as I have done in this video. Feel free to adjust the amount you cut off to what you desire.

I've added some helpful tips in the annotations in this tutorial.

I used 1 1/2 pack of #1 hair. In 8" and 10". The hair I used was a mixure of inexpensive hair and hair I had sitting around from a previous hair do.

@BlkBarbieMkeUp Lol, I rarely braid it neat. Really, whats the point? No one sees it. But I really don't like when people get extremely sloppy with it and just do one big ol dodo braid lol. I think to myself 'Seriously? Now that's just plain lazy' lol

how did u use a cap but still able to have your natural hair showing just in the middle on top?? Did you have the cap on the back of the hair only?

Would u advise putting 10 inches in the back and 12 inches of weave on top, then trimming it? yours looks great!

Something I learned in school, when parting, the best way to do it is laying it flat, teeth in the hair then part. Parts will come out cleaner. Just a helpful tip if it works for you. But LOVE it nonetheless

really good :) when you used the hairdryer to straighten your hair, did you put it directly on your head or just a bit above it?
