With The Firehouse Five Plus Two band. They made 7 of these short music films (videos) with her, and they were shown on television. She was about 19 at the time, and was quite a showgirl.
I am impressed with what women can do in high heels.

  • I've noticed that YouTube's lousy compression system causes a lot of clips to be out of sync.

  • Right. I don't actually think she's lip-syncing, since you hear sounds like her feet.

Most of youtube's new videos don't play well for me - the video drags way behind the audio and is jerky.

  • notice how she is out of sinc with the words so as you can't prove that she's cursing anyway this is the best version this was an outstanding rendition

  • If you say she's lip-syncing then that would confirm my thinking that you can't sing and dance at the same time.

She also recorded this on an early London label. Then in the 1970s, found on the 16 Most Requested CD, available at Rhapsody store.

They did a good job here, and these films are hard to find.

  • I do like this, but please don't sing it at MY funeral.

  • listen to louis armstrong performing this!

  • No one can touch Betty Hutton. Her version is by FAR superior.

  • "Old Man Mose" is originally from 1939-1940. It's one of the very few pop songs about death. Teresa's perky, bubbly rendition of what are actually very creepy lyrics adds an odd touch to the entire thing.

  • Lyrics are wacky- but what a sweet voice!

  • lol. she seems so happy someone died

  • I have discovered that this is the very same recording that's on her record. It's obvious from the sound of the male chorus. So what's the explanation? One was recorded first and then used for the other. I read that these Snader films were recorded live.

  • That Teresa personality cones out all over on this one. You gotta love it.DF
