1 - Asia develops and manufactures it.
2 - Initial cost of product release is high. Meaning Americans are to cheap to pay for it when it first comes out.
3 - Bug have to be taken out. Asian markets are willing to work with the manufacturer. American market just bitch and bitch and bitch.

very nice, when is the gps version going to be released? Also, why does Korea get the new advanced versions ahead of everyone else? They did the same with the Sony PS3!
