Hot Jazz Swing Dancing @ NYC 2011 Easter Parade

Watch my hair pins come loose and other little dance floor melee, as Jason & I continue cutting a rug on Fifth Avenue to the music of Drew Nugent & The Midnight Society during the 2011 NYC Easter Parade ... Please like & share to spread the vintage love!!

... For context, some things to Note: this is the first time Jason Lee and I danced together ... dancing on the street is physically hard on the legs, also it's really difficult to slide and move the way certain steps should be done ... there's great challenge in dancing (turning, etc.) with a wide-brimmed hat, especially when partners aren't the same heights. (But Jason is a fabulous lead & worked right around it beautifully!) AND, I am wearing a wool skirt & bolero with fur and a felt hat, and it was in the upper '70s.
