@Robertboxerboy the higher jump helps the orbit of the disc

one thing, 190' 11'' is much much farther than me so far but if i could just give a tip. the finish is great, but as you enter the middle of the ring, your too far off the ground, the closer to the ground you are the faster you sprint through the ring, which in turn the farther the discus flys. try thinking of driving down into the ring, it makes your drive forward and closer to the ground which makes you faster. again great throw and throw far!

@WeileMom Got it at farm and fleet.

@bagodiscus22 One other question- where did you buy the tarp? Is it like a painting tarp, or thicker? I just don't want to have a discus thrown through something too light and end up embedded in the garage wall!

Thanks, sounded like a tarp but I couldn't tell. Great idea!
If you don't mind my asking, what are you throwing into? And how did you attach it to your garage ceiling? We're trying to do the same thing but I couldn't tell if you are using a tarp or a net.
Thanks! Good luck this season!

It's a canvas tarp. It's hung from swivel hooks that are screwed into studs in the ceiling. It works really well.
