yes John Stewart--He replacd Dave Guard in the Kingston Trio and made them as good as ever God bless Him , Nick Renolds and and Dave they have the new Kingston trio in heaven-as the song goes if there is a rock n roll heaven the must have a hell of a band

One of the most moving videos I've ever seen.
I love Johnny Cash's recording of the same song, but this is also an absolute favourite. It is so obvious John Stewart is dying and he knows he is disappearing from us due to the sickness that finally took his life.

Just excellent! I wish there was some better quality video of this that doesn't get cut off, but I appreciate you posting this, cause it is so good!

Missouri Birds:The seeds of change, blow across the churchyard to me
Tombstone faces see right through me
Today's so soon tomorrow, and you're old
Missouri birds, flying over old Saint Louis
Hear that song they're singing to me
Go into the world while you're young
While you're young ... John:We might not be young anymore( but that old) but your music will always be with us to remember when we were.

Haunting voice. Ride the runaway train, John. It is you who are wise now. Thanks for the musical words
