That car was actually built by George Barris. It was the exact same car Roger drove the season before that was Carousel Red (orange), at that time it was stock but FULLY loaded with every option available on the Firebird at the time. That exact car is now up for sale on Hemmings, also listed is teh details of the cars history.

@badgerbuddy Pontiac was a sponcer of the show, so all the cars were pontiacs thought the series. For Betwitched, Chevy was their sponcer, so all the cars on Betwitched were Chevys.

Ha and i thought me and my brother were the only two that noticed tv muscle cars. Remember the Brady Bunch Barracuda? We wre always like "they should have given them the Hemi with pistol grip" Greg would have been ripping goodyears down the block!!

I thought it strange at 21 seconds we see Tony driving a Bonneville convertible out of nowhere when hes had the yellow Firebird before and after this. Not very good film continuity. The yellow Firebird and this Bonneville are both from the 5th and final season.

vista, thanks for watching! I realize the clips are sometimes mixed from a timeline standpoint. Roger's Firebird used a custom 3-piece spoiler (Trans Am was 1-piece), and note the "400" emblem on the trunk lid, which did not come on the Trans Am, just the Firebird 400. Another clip shows the side Trans Am style air extractors mounted in front of the REAR wheel, and facing forward! We believe the car may have belonged to one of the cast or crew, as Pontiac didn't market anything like this.

Oh I dont think youve got anything mixed up timewise. Like I said I got the 5th season DVD and this 69 Bonneville at .24 sec comes up out of nowhere and its the only show of the 5th season he drives it. Otherwise hes in the Firebird. I meant the continuity was a flaw of the show. You did a great job on this stuff. Interesting about the green Firebird. I noticed the scoops in front of the rear wheels and knew that was unique. I wasnt keen enough to see the difference on the rear spoiler.

Thank you for the compliments. I was going to do a 3rd video of all the 1965-1966 Pontiacs on the show, but just haven't had the time. They showed Tony's 65 GTO quite a bit in that first season. Thanks again.
