that stuff is scary! worked with it on a farm and i got several good wiffs off it, it takes your breath away, sometimes couldnt even breath

He shot a small tank abandoned in the field after an attempted theft from the wagon tank. The hole allowed the NH3 to blow out like liquid propane would, and the deluge with water locks up the gas and beats it out of the air. Anhydrous is about the most water-loving substance out there, and it will rob water out of plant and animal tissue, and even out of thin air as in humidity. Once it's in water, it's a little safer. As in store ammonia water. Sniff that to get an idea that it's mild!
