As an oncology nurse and Christ follower, I concur. I see people everyday fighting for their life, and those we cannot do anything more for medically. All the cares of life become unimportant, and I see many people who profess to be agnostic asking to see someone from spiritual care. At the end, nothing else matters more than our place in eternity.

As for the afterlife part, think of it as being a piece of steel...when you do something bad (as per the do onto others thing) your soul will change a little , just like steel rusting. If you do allot of bad things, your soul will change allot, maybe all the way to the core...imagine your piece of steel rusting the core..death is like sandblasting to remove the rust..how much steel will be left? how much of your soul will be left?

@Mixalot555 Ahhh, the books...centuries of men trying to make sense of concepts that are beyond their experience and literal interpretations.. they clouded a simple concept with reams of text, more interested in proving that God supported their views, than in truth...the key to ANY religion is JUSTICE. The application of which is described in stories...and the key tenant in the application of justice is DO ONTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO ONTO YOU...then you can't go wrong.

Don't land in Hell, which is real and not a fiction. One will face not only judgement of God, but the wrath of God for denying him as a CREATOR. Once man dies, after that judgement..He see the heart of man and not his spoken words. He see all and know all. He desire none to perish, but he is just & merciful God. He gave humanity a free will, he won't force none, one must want to seek his mercy because he knows he is a sinner. Love your simple and plain truth, keep on sharing and warn...

Well said..People just love to believe that life will go on as if it will never end for them, that is pretty sad. Some are willing to reject because they can see beyond what their eyes can see, that to is sad. Reject him and he will reject you for not believing in him. He came, so we can live with him. Without his death, resurrection, we would never have been forgive and our faith would have been plainly dead faith. Life is short, very short, one must choice, make the wright choice.

@Mixalot555 We are more special than other animals. There are numerous of reasons why but the first being is that we evolved. Furthermore, we have the gift of communication and thats what made us more efficient. Even moreover, we are made in God's image and souls. Other animals are neither.

God gave us animals to serve us. Thats the fact.

if any man be in Christ he shall never die, thats the beauty of being in Christ, we will pass from this life to the next almost momentarily and so will the ungodly 2nd death, while the living counts time, the dead knows nothing, so it sad when i hear people who dont want to accept Jesus , but not all will, and even most who have, will only have a form of godliness that the devil will use when persecution arise for the gospel of Jesus worldwide. the devil will almost remove all his opposition ..
