as for this finishing their career they released at least 2 albums post this that made top ten in the album chart, hardly a failure for an indie band. Saw them a few times as a teenager and they always came across as good lad. Schofield meh....Andy Crane ran a better broom cupboard anyway.

@Hero87 What is so good about um is that they didn't give a toss if they made it or not. The fact they didn't really hit it big means they are still going today in 2011. Also Carter gigs are the best I've experienced. I would honestly prefer to go to a 5000 strong carter gig than 50000 at a stadium with anyone else cause the roof comes off both from the band and the crowd :-) I'm not knocking others just saying that Carter still shine bright today
