Why are people even mentioning Lady Gaga? She's not even close to hot, she looks like Freddie Mercury in drag.

Lady Gaga and Dale Bozzio have both used shocking couture as a way to make a statement. Yes, it says "I'm totally unique" but it's in a unique context to the music and times. In the Missing Persons era the music industry was another animal, where music mattered a lot more and affected the listener more. "Words" came out on a record album, and all songs on it are good. Gaga is from the corporate selling era in a downloadable, virtual world in desperate economic times.

Thanks...just trying to express what I feel many Missing Persons fans are trying collectively to say...after all, what are words for? ;-)

Funny how most of these bands have pretty much faded into obscurity. There was a lot of fun, danceable music during this era. There were so many new bands coming out left & right. Very few have survived the test of time. That era/genera was fun though, I danced my way through it. My one true love though, will always be classic/progressive rock! And at age 55 I appreciate it even more. That sound will never fade or be topped.
