The Garden Tools That Bind Us

First video I ever worked on. (edited in camera).

if memory serves: my Friend Jesse Banwell invited me to come hang out with Hugo and his friends, because they were shooting videos in Scotts Valley with Hugo's video camera. I invited my friend Hogan Whitall.

We showed up after they'd already started shooting (with a paper bag full of props) and immediately derailed Hugo's horror idea. The shot where Hugo is suddenly wearing a long black wig came directly after we started babbling up ideas to "help out." I dimly recall that we insisted that michael jackson and george bush appear as a couple, and not everyone thought it was funny/cool.

side note: That thick stick really does bounce directly off Joe's head while he's wearing the mask (completely blind). Makes the most amazing sound! Still makes me laugh. though it must have hurt like hell.
