GLH Turbo vs. Mustang LX 5.0 and Golf GTI

1985 Dodge Omni GLH Turbo racing a Mustang LX 5.0L and a Volkwagen Golf GTi. The race with the Mustang is one of my favourites because the the guy in the Mustang challenged me to a race. He didn't believe that the 2.2 Turbo's were really that fast. I'm not sure if you can see it or not but I was taping the brakes before the end of the 1/4 mile just to rub a little salt into the fresh wound.

The only modifications to my GLH Turbo at the time was the Mopar Performance computer and I believe that I had a K&N drop in replacement filter. Tires were Michelin XGTV's in a 205/50/15. The video was shot in 1997 with an 8mm Sanyo Camcorder.
