Thanks for posting, I visited Waveland 4 months after Katrina. I stood dumbfounded that the US 90 bridge, made of concrete, had been blown into the sea. I am for all Wavelanders.. those who stayed and those who left, a courageous move regardless of the choice. I hope that all Wavelanders find peaceful, good lives post Katrina, God bless the Good People of Waveland...may goodness and
lovingkindness follow you all the days of your
lives.

I can't believe that it has been almost 3 years since Katrina hit. The house you show with sign reading "4 dead....we lost our mother, father and two brothers" they were my sister, brother in law and nephews. You can never imagine the shock, pain and sorrow we have felt since then. I just hope and pray that this type of devestation never happens again. May God bless each of you that have helped with the recovery efforts in MS

I come to Waveland twice a year with a group to help with rebuilding. It breaks my heart to see how many people are still dealing with this every single day, some with no end in sight. Waveland needs more help!

This is the only video I've ever seen that did any justice to my poor town. Thank you for posting this and we're doing great!

I just went down to Mississippi his past week and I worked in Waveland to fix up houses. It was the best experience of my life and I loved it. I am supporting you all from the bottom of my heart. <3

This video gave you a chance to see just how extensive the damage was in waveland, things that really touch you and make you thankful for the people and things you have!
As you know if you read the information about this video - I did not create it. But I think the story needs to be told, so it is posted here with permission. Quality suffered in the uploading, I apologize.

I'm sorry for your loss. The destruction and suffering are still overwhelming to me - over a year later, and I only volunteered to help. I can only imagine the grief you must be experiencing. However, I have learned that the people of Mississippi are strong. You are survivors. I believe that you will return. I will keep my website up and updated until that happens, as long as it takes.
