the only two stalwarts of indian cinema are kamal haasan n naseerudin shah. eventhough am frm south ive admired naseerudin shah alot lik i does wit kamal ...nxt comes om n amrish puri some other gr8 of indian films.all the rest amitabh ,rajni,srk r just for masses they cant even stand near to these gr8s.

I agree with his school of thought. theatre is a different academy and most loveable art in the field of acting but putting down bollywood actors shouldn't be nasir's job, he doesn't need to say all these and why to protect the theatre? is there any need? do you think those wannabe would harm the theatre? no need, wannabe may try but wouldn't succeed if not enough talented and eventually would go to bollywood but didn't expect such speech from nasir, that's why

it's totally wrong you are taking nasir's argument.

well it's like this,

theater is considered very down to earth , low or no paying area of expertise, But it's like Grandfather to Cinema and considered to be a sanctuary of very very talented performers. And most people agree that theater belongs to those who have / had faith in it, Nasir probably belong to that school of thought.

He embraces theater as his life, now if he wants to protect them from some wannabe then it's fair.

Nasir is a good actor. But, he should not be putting either bollywood or actors in bollywood down.Sharukhan, Amibath are great actors too no doubt about that. In fact for all the love he has for theater, it is actually Bollywood movies which actually gives his livelihood and he knows it pretty well .. .it hope he starts respecting where his food comes from.

Amitabh doesn't that way, SRK sure does. + If anyone wants to come to theatre, it is their wish I don't think Naseer should be unhappy about it. he is a great actor but he shouldn't undermine others (as I see he already did in a way or another,not in this video) but film and theatre are 2 different things, one shoudn't expect to mix them, nowhere not only in India. How many french theatre academy actors are filmstars? how many hollywood top actors are theatre actors? come on

@prerak1980 AK talks OPENLY about what the condition of the industry was like 5 years ago. luckily...AK, deebakar,sudhir mishra,vishal bhardwaj,amol gupte and the likes have been developing their niche audiences..who have been growing. naseer is SICK of what he has experienced in the industry...the way INFLUENCE,INHERITANCE and MONEY politics had dominated TALENT and crippled the industry. ONLY THEY know what they have gone through.
