Kinski was very gentle with animals...refer to the scene with the butterflies. i think the man had great respect for nature but loathed human kind for what they stood for.

@kabeto1985 There's not really a name for the song. The band who did the music for the movie put out an album entitled "Aguirre" with 2 songs, Aguirre I and Aguirre II. That would probably be pretty tough to find though =P
