Oh hey, don't worry about it. I haven't even seen that movie, just the first one, so I'm in no position to judge it; actually, that whole 'rant' was intended as a joking/sarcastic reference to a Mario video I saw riffed not all that long before making this video. (That video was of an SMB1 hack, though.) So don't worry, I wasn't being serious at any point in that 'rant'. ^_^;

If I recall, you are only prevented from entering World 9 if you actually warp. Therefore, since you killed yourself rather than enter the warp pipe, you should still be able to reach World 9.

Seems you're correct, as not only did I run into another warp zone later on (where I wasn't even aware one existed!), but also I was -still- able to reach World 9.
