@NiGHTSfandom You're right. I was actually just going to post similar. My hammy is just over 2 years old now and has developed a similar problem though he's not as big as the one above. He was all good until a couple of days ago when his eyes started becoming sticky, breathing fast and walking funny. I took him to the vets just before he deteriorated and she recommended euthanasia when he stopped 'being himself'.

@xMegaWombat If that's a medical condition, then the owner should've put the poor thing down, benign or not. The tumors are weighing the little guy down and crushing his organs and such; it's not even funny, it's just plain sad and depressing!

Jeez that is not fat, that is a medical condition. But the reality is that it's a $6 hamster you're not going to rack up a $500 vet bill and risk its life performing surgery on it. If it doesn't mind and you don't, best you can do is give it a happy life.
