The lines on a sheet of music become three-dimensional and turn into a roller coaster. The virtual ride visualises part of a smphony by Ferdinand Ries performed by the Zurich Chamber Orchester and lets us see and hear its notes simultaneously.

  • The main problem is that the track shows the first violine only. Generally it's perfectly timed on the bars. The speed of the camera will cause a stretch of the bars and a correct placement of the notes inbetween, so that you have all the time the notes synced to the music. It was not possible to get a main music theme or switching instruments of the symphony to make it better readable. The first violine is not dominating all the time. I just can say that it's technically perfectly done :-)

  • COOL

  • Well, kinda nice - but the rollercoaster would be unrideable, because some passages are too fast!

  • Schön.

  • the person who had the idea for that earns a price for ingenuity...
