Cheyenne was 15 and standing out in front of her parents caskets.
"Why me?" she softly asked.
It started to rain. Denise walked over to her side.
"Cheyenne honey, it's time to go home."
"There is no home for me. First my brother, now my parents!"
"You still have us your our family now."
"It's just not the same!"
Flashback:Cheyenne's P.O.V.
It was April 13, my parents anniversary. They went up to NYC for the day to see a broadway play...It was raining outside and the highwyas were slippery. I was over my neighbor's house (The Jonas') watching a movie with the whole family, when the doorbell rang. Papa J got up and answered the door, it was a police officer.
"Can i help you?" he asked
"Yes, is there a Cheyenne Ledger here?"
I got up and went to the door.
"That's me...is something wrong?"
"I'm afraid so...when ur parents were coming back home for New York, there seemed to be a speeding tractor trailer. I'm afraid that the truck tipped over and killed both your parents instantly."
The police officer left and i was left there on the floor of the Jonas' balling my eyes out. Papa J came kneeled down next to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Cheyenne...it'll be okay...u still have all of us."
I ran out the door and callopsed in their front yard in the pouring rain.
"Why! Why me? Do u not want me to have any family? First my brother died in a car crash with me...now my parents!"
i layed there looking up into the pouring rain until i saw a light come from the front door...it was Joe. I ran towards him and hugged him...I never wanted to let him go...Never.
*so...is this pretty good for a start?*
