  • Thanks for drawing m attention back to this. Sorry, upon listening again I have changed my opinion on this piece. It's actually not discordant and has an expressive flowing nature that carries the complex melodies. There is certainly melody present, it's just not immediate. This reminds me of Saint-Saens Cavatine actually. Haha, you know full well I'm not an established composer! But point well made. I'm glad I gave this another listen - I ended up enjoying it.

  • There is none other quite like Joseph Alessi!

  • Excellente sonorité! Bravo M. Alessi! Je vous remerci pour vous jouez du trombone...C'est une inspiration pour moi!

  • Joe Alessi, Is amazing, one of my all time favorite trombone players!

  • Maybe he's just that creative.

  • Fantastic player but I have a feeling I won't be whistling this tune tomorrow. Seems like some composers bend over backwards to avoid the dreaded concept "melody". Ah well... each to his own.

  • Excellent performance!

    Amazing piece!!

  • cool!

he is one of my favorite musicians!!
