  • You're so soft spoken. Is somebody sleeping in the next room?

  • @kw757 hahah actually yeah. I was staying at a friends house and they were asleep in the next room.

  • larrivee is the best brand for finger picking..the clarity and tone is just awesome..

  • @crazycool1128 Agreed, and agreed! So amazing. Also I find the dread to be a great all around guitar, it excels in basically every area and style of music

  • got the same guitar... wouldnt trade it for the world

  • @sowafication awesome! Without a doubt man, these guitars just bring out the best in music, makes you want to play more and discover more. Its a great cycle.

  • Convinced me to buy a D-03. Thanks.

  • i love my larrivee as well, good video

  • Its funny cause everything you said is what I have been thinking. Ever since I sat down and the guy handed me the larivee and I played one chord I just fell in love with it ! I haven't stopped thinking about it. I have a Simon and Patrick and have been very happy with it for a good 3 years but like I said that larivee has been on my mind and now I'm convinced and I'm going to buy it tomorrow. Oh and when you said that you love it because your playing has improved because you wanna play it more

  • I have a D-02E (fishman pickup) that I got wholesale about 10 years ago for about $450. Looks about the same but just a tiny bit less fancy. I absolutely love it!

  • Good review, larrivees are fantastic instruments

  • Happened to be in Vancouver. Spent all week looking at guitars...layed away 2 different Martins...(I have a 67 0-18 amazing guitar), but when I picked up the Larrivee...i took that puppy home...what a steal!!!

this guitar is beyond belief...I paid $1230 Canadian. that includes a professional case and 12% tax. Well worth every penny. Best made guitar vs. Martin/Taylor.

  • I have a 1998 d-03 . Great guitar ! I also have an old Tacoma DM-10 e with an L.R. Baggs pickup . A Washburn Quilted maple jumbo , Alvarez AD-60 , Seagull , Blueridge, Washbur Wd32 , Epiphone hummingbird, and several other cheapies . I find the Larrivee has the tone but I get in different moods and pick up whatever feels right at the time . Larrivee builds heirloom quality and won't accept less. You can pass them on to your kids .

  • I have a '99 D-03, when I brought it home I could not put it down, was almost late for work a few days that first week, it's just great, do yourself justice and try one if you are in the market for a decent acoustic...10 years later and I'm still in love with it...
