That's right. There's an option in the .ini to continue the combo in between songs.

in my experience, one handed goes easier then two handed for me then. likewise for him. when i wanna play 2 hands i cant even start the song, and im dead xD ONE HANDED STEPMANIA PLAYERS FTW!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!
