  • @stepsahead Look, I detest Obama and hope he wins zero electoral votes in 2012. The shirt is terrible. The politics are worse. But, as musicians, The Bad Plus are geniuses. I don't judge Obama on his piano, bass or drumming skills, but on his pathetic leftist ideology. Similarly, I don't judge The Bad Plus on their politics, but on their musical and compositional skills, which are nonpareil.

  • @stepsahead What they'll write about is how weird it was that so many righwing dipshits got together and competed on how chin-dribblingly stupid they could appear to be. The slack-jawed f!ckwits. You're one of them aren't you sonny?

  • @tehJESSEH Your comment baffles me. It never jumps into swing. The fact that you call it that shows you don't have any understanding of anything remotely related to jazz, so it makes sense that you think they're hitting random notes. Much of this cover is very close to the original. I'm not saying you have to like it, but your analysis of it is flawed in several respects.

  • @tehJESSEH Everyone is entitled to thier opinion and someone totally attacked me for saying something bad about a video on here not too long ago, So I'm not trying to attack you. Your opinion is interesting though because I feel like of all their covers this one sounds most like the original. At first I didn't like her voice but I love it now. And though it isn't as pretty as the studio version I think it's very pretty. And kid A is one of the best albums of all time :)

  • Leftist music with the Obama T-shirt. in 100 years, historians will write books about this archaism.

  • I'm sorry, I've watched this multiple times and simply do not get it. I don't consider myself completely incompetent - Kid A and Yankee Hotel are two of my favorite albums of all time. But this just sounded literally like hitting random notes... and the bass and vocals at the beginning sounded so extremely amateur. Then it turns into a swingy jazz piece? It may have suited the band's style, but this was the absolute wrong piece to choose to cover.

    My opinion

  • damn, in the beginning i wasnt sure how i felt about it, but by the time it was over it totally blew me away. i love the jazz elements in it.

  • Incredible!!!

Yeah I think it's the best one of the album too. But "lithium" cover it's so interesting.

  • the best off the new album. oh, and in the info section, I believe that should be November of 2008, not 2009.
