DSM 4g63 Engine Build

This is the video I made for the rebuild I did on my 1995 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. It took us over 6 months of hard work consisting of many almost sleepless nights, and countless frustrating moments that almost made us walk away.

Engine Work Includes: honed cylinders, decked head and block, head rebuilt, new timing components, water pump, arp main and headstuds, acl race bearings, cometic mls headgasket, new engine gasket set, stock pistons and rods, odds and end stuff.

someone as good as doing "A tech" work would have tightened the acc. belts somewhat better than what it was during "1st" start up...Nice vid but im not buying it with all the teenage help you had in your pics...Yes nice vid but wheres the real help you had?

@Rippingsax1 Don't believe it if you don't want to then. I was 18 years old at the time of the build, my friends were all about the same age, and we did all the assembling/installing. I had a ton of advising help from people on dsmtuners and a friends father (who knows engines). Obviously an engine machinist did all the cleaning, honing, decking, etc. But we assembled it from the bare block up. As for the acc. belts yeah they were a little loose, and guess what? We tightened them 5 min later

@DSMSpeedyG From start to finish about 7 months. Some have this kind of work done in weeks, some take years. It just depends. Same goes with cost, it just depends on how much you want to spend.

@Rippingsax1 srry,but ur a toolbag.jus because somebodys young doesnt affect theyre abilty to build a car right.ive built 3 very built cars over the years.i started at 18,check my profile.ive owned a 400hp 99 eclipse gsx built by me,started 1st try.if u know wat ur doing,itl wrk out.u must suk at wrking on cars or sumthn,chek my vids for proof if u dnt believe me.spent 25k plus on my gsx,all paid for n built by me..yeah i suk at spellling,but at least i can build a car.props to this kids dsm btw

my buddy rebuilt his 97 talon tsi all by himself at the age of 16 u all are trippin anyone can build a motor if they know how age dont matter and he did it in less then a week after buying all theparts

First clip has the baby automatic tdo4 turbo. That thing spools boost quick on a stock setup.
