READ READ READ READ READ. Hey everyone. This is my second time carving. Any tips would be great haha. Sorry about the sound quality. I usually record with a Flip Video but it stopped working the morning we were leaving. I quickly went out with a digital camera and had my dad shoot some quick footage. I was unable to get my videos from my Flip :(

  • Yeah the medium works well. With my gear, I have never been cold with the medium windshield, even on a day when wind chill was -20F, not including speed of the snowmobile, which probably would put it in the -40s F

  • hey how tall is your wind sheild please respond

  • @daleyracingteam It is a medium, which is 13 inches (33cm) I think?

  • Just saw that. Nice. Interesting my brothers 800 revs way up then comes back down.

  • @shakyjake213 Hmmm strange. Maybe thats how the 800 needs to rev in order to warm up and run correctly while cold.

  • Get lower, and dont jerk it over. Just lean and give it a good amount if throttle. I usually run about 7k on the tach while carving. If you are about to fall, bar it and it will come back.

  • funny stuff, but im no better.so dont feel bad. Keep practicing and you will figure it out.Its all about the fun.:p

  • pull her over slower, dont jerk it, and stay leaned over until its sideways and use the throttle to help. if you are carving left hander turn the skis right if you are about t o bury it and that'll help pull her up, (and in a right hander turn left) other than that you got it down pretty good. dont be afraid to fall off more either

  • @Trdpshr thanks a lot im looking for a windshield for my sled by i dont want it to big so that the handgaurds will hit it when i turn the handle bars

  • @shakyjake213 You can find the Video on my homepage if you haven't seen it yet. It stays right at 1200rpm cold or warm. It was in the low 20s in the start up video.
