  • hi if i were to buy one of these could i just shoot regular .410 shotgun ammo or would i have to buy .410 handgun ammo?

  • @www7598wr2 There is no difference.

  • can you use the game loads in a shot gun against ducks??

  • The Snake Slayer has longer and shorter barrel versions. Which one is the gun in the video? Thanks.

  • @jimdigriztn I have the 3.5 inch. I can shoot the 3 1/4 inch shells

  • This video was extremely helpful in making my decision on what defense ammo to load in my Bond Arms .410 cowboy derringer. I have been to the range several times testing various ammo's but never tryed the Winchester 2 1/2 " super X 000 buck (3 pellets). After watching this video I'm now convinced thats what I want to use in my cowboy. Thanks Pop!

  • Sweet vid!! I like them Winchester Supreme Elites.

  • @devyn172 the 410 handgun ammo comes in 3 inch or 2 1/2, i know, i keep 2 1/2 000 buck 4 pellet in my 410. its marked, federal 410 handgun, 2.5 inch. the 3 inch shells are better, but 2.5 gets it done.

  • @www7598wr2 there is a difference, the ammo marked as .410 handgun are 3 inch full shells usually buckshot or slugs for home defense.THE 2.5 inch game loads are not meant for the new .410 hanguns like taurus judge.

  • My thumb is sore after just watching this... lol

  • .410 2.5 inch Federal 000 shell is the most accurate I've shot from my 4" barrel judge.

  • @CornBeefHashHunter sure it would kill a duck but when shooting waterfowl rather than game birds its required to use steelshot loads.expecially over water.ducks and geese can get shot with lead, fly off and die later rather than steel flys straight thru them. :) I dont recoment hunting waterfowl with a 410 either but its possible.

  • stop at 2:32 really cool

  • pdx was very impressive. my local gun store only carries the federal 410. Seeing this, I will definately mail order PDX instead for my single breechload .410 survival pistol.

  • Thanks Pop, It looks like the (Handgun) Federal Premium 000 buck was the most superior of them all. I have the Texas Defender and am very satisfied with it; I also removed the trigger guard which makes for a smoother trigger pull. Everyone should have one of these little cannons in their arsenal, my .02 worth!
