my sis playing with "buddy" our pet mongoose back in 2000. dont mistake the playful biting for attack/defense biting, when mongoose dont like something they will fluff up to appear bigger. a tail fluff up is more of a excited play manner.
you cant buy these. we raised ours from a pup with eyes still closed and was abandoned from its family.

That's a rather entertaining looking pet. We have a ferret, but she's almost too docile sometimes, this guy looks rather active.

@MsNiceDick yeah he had a ton of energy, so much energy he would dig holes in the carpet and drywall. my other mongoose vid shows the kinda trouble he would get into on a daily basis

i live on oahu too. i want one. but i dont see too many baby ones lol. ive never seen one i could catch. what do they eat?

@Amandork456 I doubt youll ever get to see a baby young enough to tame. I got mine before its eyes were even open and was only about 4 inches long. they eat pretty much anything, from papaya and carrots to meat and fruit loops. cat food is also a good replacement for fresh foods(sort of).
