I'm in the Oregon State Marching band also, and I have so much respect for the Husky Band. You guys rock!!

I hope these kids appreciate this. I would kill for the chance to play with the Crazy 8s, or be taught by Todd Duncan.

The Dawg Marching Band should add Crazy 8's "Scratch & Claw" to their repertoire

My years in Husky Band were absolutely the best years of my life and Johnny Q and Sunny Spot being my favorite songs. I had never even heard of the Crazy 8's prior to my band years but have bought a couple of their albums since. Great stuff.

A bunch of us Husky Band'ers used to go see the 8's play the Ballard Firehouse. Kristin Kreifels (nee' Cronin) came up with the idea to have HMB Asst. Director Doug Cheney arrange Johhny Q for us. Been a band favorite ever since! -Louis
I am a member of the Oregon State marching band and moments like these I will cherish my whole life! Out of all the other bands in the Pac-10 the Husky band is the coolest and most fun band to go visit or have visit. I always love how cool they are and we all have a blast doing these post game concerts. We all end up dancing to each other's songs no matter what lol Go Beavers and go Huskies

Oh yeah, and Johnny Q was one of my absolute favorites to play. "Naked. Why aren't we naked?!"
