He will never die,as u saw,at end he rised and he had a grenade to put in enemy mouth,and many more master chiefs will come from red vs blue blood gulch chronicles,and anyways he can always use cheats to survive ;D

I will be back here on September 26th to tell all that has ended in the final of the Halo Trilogy. It takes 24-hours for my first-class overnight mail of the Mark V Helmet copy of Halo 3 Collectors Eddition.
So, adding this video to my favorites, until that time arrives. The greatest game of all time in my 24 years on this planet -- is 2 days and counting.

saw this ad yesterday the 1stsecond i shouted at the tv =o its halo!!
but this dusnt rellie prove anything i fink its jusfor atmosphere
but then again if you fink about it its the end of halo so they could well kill him off seing most endings 2 films the hero dies unless they plan on a sequal but lets hope the arbitar dies and the master cheif lughs and dus the conga =D

Why would John 117 blow himself up if a brute chieftain is holding him? He has killed several brutes before and lets not froget game has not yet been relased. I will buy the game and see myself if he dies.... BUT i hope he takes Arbiter (god i hate that char.) with him.
