@blessedvorgar1 You are ignorant for saying such a statement. I'm black American, and most of my friends are Nigerians, and we mesh well.
You're ignorant. People are people. Be more open to the world and maybe you will learn more instead of condemning black america or even america. Do you think because you live across water that it will make us different? Ignorance

@IfImBeingHonest Princenoiramerican you are a D.U.N.C.E. and no matter what i will still keep calling you and your idiocy out here.. your obsession with igbo people is a bust, they KNOW YOU ARE A FAKE .. so bring on your "igbobiafran" channel to harrass igbo people and lets get them to kick your pig ignorance to the curb AGAIN..

How about African-Americans that refer to Africans as African-booty scratchers?? Yup, I hear that all the time..Plus a lot of African-Americans always have something negative to say about Africans..They often say that "Africans come over here & take their jobs" & so on..Ummm, okk... Personally, I really don't give a Hoot; I just live my life and do my thing.....To Each His Own!!

Having a nigerian name does not make you more nigerian and and having an american name doesn't make you less nigerian...they are just names. and that thing you said about nigerians with igbo names no going to heaven is bullshit. sorry.

we need to listen to part 3. it is quite intersting that what u are has alot of truth in it. I am ibo lived in atlanta. u see the word akata was used mainly becos of lack of knowledge of black histroy, all the blacks went through. when i got to know all that the african american went through, i felt it was wrong to keep such view i mean akata.the word was targetted to behavioural nature found grossly by north american, but when displayed by the african american it was tagged /coined akata

& although it's not only our problem, I can only worry about getting my own house in order, lol. Also, I still respect South and East Asians b/c although there was some European influences that make me wanna smh, they still have VERY PRESERVED and rich cultures. And if you want to do business with them, you have to do it in their language, for the most part. Our language doesn't seem important, but only we who value it have the power to change that. Imagine Igbo being valued like Chinese or sth!

Yes Yes Yes. I agree. Anywhere white people have gone, you see the damage, albeit on different levels. [I actually alluded to that before, but since I'm Igbo, I'll only speak from that perspective]. And I agree with the comment about English, as well. It just worries me that Africa's going to become like Latin America, where all that is spoken is the oppressor language (Spanish, in their case). Whenever I read about the decline in Igbo speakers, it saddens me.
My father has five full blooded children in Nigeria and he says that they speak and write english better than Yurba. English is also the unifing language due to the fact that all of the different tribes have different languages. I don't speak Yurba but I am still a Yurba person.
