This is funny.
To do this, you must pull up the left side of your cartridge at the following times:
1) Select "Copy". When it gets to "Yes", select that and immediately CC.
2) When you create a new name, CC after selecting "End"

Vary your timing to get different results.

BTW, I saved my first file as FD Link, so that's why I was him.

For obvious reasons, this will not work on the GCN version.

  • Lol? what were you holding?

And what exactly did you do? Just inserted the cart crooked? /confused

  • @Takato142 Rock Sirloin. It's an item in a sidequest in Snowhead.

And to do this, you just lift the left side of the cartridge from your N64, being careful not to go too far because it will freeze.

  • Now we know why Jadusable experienced that horror.

  • @TakoshidaEpikShinxz So what you're saying is...

    I shouldn't have done that?

  • You shouldn't have glitched that.

  • @PruneJuiceBoozer *rocks back and forth in my seat, sucking my thumb and shivering*

  • I wonder what the Nintendo 64 would have been like if it took disks instead of cartridges...

  • @BooperGrandson We would have found out if Nintendo and Sony hadn't messed up their deal back then.

  • so let me get this strait: you started the game as a blue flashing swordless Force Diety Link holding a rock? GOD THAT SOUNDS SO BAD ASS!!!

  • Ben wants a chat with you.

  • Man, that thing at the start is like the Zelda version of Resetti.

  • @peteyboo You've met a terrible fate, haven't you?

  • @ShootingStarr182 the counter resets.

  • You shouldn't have done that...

  • I did this once, and when I started a new file, nothing was corrupted, but I didn't have my sword and shield or anything, and my masks page was file with blue ocarinas.
