Bob Downe (the comic creation of Mark Trevorrow) hosted KARAOKE DOKEY in 2006 - a singing competition on Australian cable channel, TV1. In the series Grand Finale, Bob and his lovely hostess, Pastel Vespa (Fiona Thorn) perform CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' while the viewer votes are tallied - at the urging of Celebrity Judge, Aussie TV legend DENISE DRYSDALE. Karaoke Dokey was filmed at The Forum, in the Fox Studios Entertainment Quarter, Sydney.

The chemistry is incredible, but that sound is unique comic/musical genius! I love it every time these 2 characters sing together. There is more here than just camp.
