Nursing is perfect! Be creative - do your homework - there are plenty of careers you can choose from!

What privileged perspective you have. What is a solid profession these days anyway? Fantasy Finance? Blogging? Some other knowledge economy nonsense? Nursing? There are no jobs of any sort here. Go back to college? Are you buying? Won't you help someone like me become someone like you? Please . . .

What you need to quit doing is the crying and whining.
If your company doesn't spoil your asses, QUIT your JOB!
WOW - isn't that easy???
Do like MILLIONS of others and find a SOLID profession. Go back to college - get with it man!

"If you buy American-Made cars, it's because you can't afford a REAL car..."
Exactly. Can't afford healthcare, college or retirement either. But we should just stop fighting for those things too and die off, right? Then you'll have to find somebody else to make you feel superior. I'm sure that won't be a problem.

This guy is directly responsible for GM's downfall. UAW killed the big 3 and this jack boot hammered the first nail.

This guy is directly responsible for the creation of the middle-class. Wall Street and free-traders killed it and those whose half-hearted notions about liberty stop at the freedom to form unions and bargain collectively helped.

Sorry, crappy companies should die. The unions are partially to blame and they should suffer dearly. What are you going to lose? 1/2 your pension? Too bad

What makes these companies crappy? The products? The way they're talked about by press, comedians & bloggers? How would you feel if your boss told you to build a product nobody wanted, then took half your wage, most of your health care and ALL of your pension while he cashed in his million buck bonus? Crappy? Why blame the union for giving members a shot at a living wage, care when sick, an education for their children and the chance to retire? Why don't autoworkers, all workers, deserve that?
