When I lived in S.A. gallery owners from the USA would come & buy paintings direct from artists for $1. each & sell them to US galleries for $50. or more. Galleries would write a glam phony bio about the artist and sell them for $200. or more. It made the artist "famous" but the artist only got $1.00. (I would like to see that kind of operation sabotaged!) So I suggest setting up an online Gallery & take only the fair customary share of 30%. Make artists some money as well as yourself.

Hello Christ!
I am also from Guatemala currently living in the US.
I am happy to hear you talk about Guatemala like that, and yes it is a wonderful country, with wonderful people and great things. You know, one of the worlds greatest civilizations lived there long ago and as you learn about them it makes you want to lear more about Guatemala's history and it's culture.
You have to go there and visit Tikal.
