They all sucked. I was a huge Science Fiction fan growing up, and I loved films like 2001 and Planet of the Apes and Silent Running and Soylent Green. In other words Sci Fi for ADULTS. Then Lucas comes out with this KIDS film. Sure it had some great special effects, but despite the failed attempt to be meaningful mythology, it was a weak movie for children.
