A deadly train accident in Buenos Aires was caught on video. At least 11 people were killed.

A shocking new video was released on Wednesday which showed an accident that killed 11 people in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And about 200 people were also injured.

Filmed from a security camera aboard one of the two trains involved in the accident, it shows how a bus crossing the railway tracks is hit by an oncoming train.

The first train is then seen flying up into the air and into the path of the second train before the video cuts out.

Most of those injured and killed were aboard the bus, including the bus driver.

[Soledad Gallardo, Relative of Crash Victim]:
"I hope that his memory is cleansed because nobody knew him except me and my family and my children. Because when they say that he is responsible for this tragedy that is a lie. My children cry from the pain of it because they know their father wasn't capable of that. We admired how my husband drove. We always told him that. He never had an accident, never, and we drove a lot on trips."

The accident occurred early in the morning before the morning rush hour.

  • @Myaucat I travel on that bus line every day, the problem is that the barrier doesn't work 80% of the time, and the timing of the trains make it so bus are 20-30 minutes waiting for the barrier to lift, so most bus drivers just speed by

  • he never had an accident? that looked like one to me.
