"I stopped at a drive-in for a bottle of beer, the one I had wanted all along. Only I wanted it worse now to get rid of the sour taste of her iced tea, and everything that went with it."

That was a great movie line, just like this one that came before it.

"So I let her have it straight between the eyes. She didn't fool me for a minute, not this time. I knew I had hold of a red hot poker and the time to drop it was before it burnt my hand off."

This movie clip is from the movie: Double Indemnity (1944).

  • You mean uncle Charley?

  • Yes, that is Fred MacMurray.

Don't you remember the episode when Mr. French brought home a keg for the boys?

  • back then driving drunk was expected! No one gave a fuck. Cars had built in flasks sometimes.

  • Great quote.

  • Wow...a driver that serves beer! There is a booze barn in Austin on Guadalupe that you can drive into and buy beer (I think it's assuming you don't drink it while driving)
