4G Speed Test (LTE vs HSPA+ or AT&T vs T Mobile) on Samsung Galaxy S3
Read full review here: http://www.androidtapp.com/samsung-ga...

In our 4G face-off of the AT&T (4G LTE) and T-Mobile (HSPA+) versions we have, big pink was clearly faster in download speeds while big blue had faster upload speeds. It didn't come as much of a shock, now, as we have seen this activity in a past 4G face-off we held.

at&t's LTE usually works fine until next LTE phone comes out, if u get LTE it will be fast for a month or two then they cap it and its slow like 3G and worse, tmobile speeds are much higher even thouigh its not LTE im very surprised, i might switch to tmobile

Tmobile does not have LTE in Chicago yet. Their DC-HSPA+ is as fast (if not faster) than AT&T's LTE though.

hey quick question. So, Tmobile hasn't switched on LTE in Chicago yet? I am really thinking of leaving ATT for TMO to save money and was just curious. Doing a ton of research right now. I will be picking up a TMP Pay phone to test the service soon.

Don't we upload more than we download? I thought we only download when we want new apps and save stuff? When we load youtube and other webpages that's uploading right? I'm confuse...not good with technology.

Your results are indicative of AT&T's lack of spectrum in Chicago for LTE. Tmobile's DC-HSPA+ here in Chicago is very good. In some suburbs, AT&T can get as fast as 40 Mbps, though. Can't wait until tmobile switches LTE on here to do an LTE comparison.

Post speeds from old 3g towers that were never upgraded to hspa. You can find them all around nyc. Those towers have crappy speeds like 200-300 kbps.

you need to do speed tests both teams in mbps not as you have in the video and buy yourself a camera in hd to make a good video and these speed tests are relative by taking each cell ping
