Sometimes I catch myself singing this, albeit softly. It's catchy. And yeah, I agree with the sentiment - I think humans are still a work in progress. You'd think if we were intelligently designed, there wouldn't be problems like joint pain or double sets of teeth, or even astigmatism.

May as well make a cute song about it. Sure can't make a good scientific case against irreducible complexity, as seen in biochemical mechanisms such as bacterial flagellum.
But scientists have shown themselves to be as susceptible to herd-like thinking and behavior, just like anyone else. Anthropogenic Global Warming was the wake-up call, but the exact same thing goes on with ID, which undermines the notion that scientists are mere objective observers of the physical world.

A very witty song, and I certainly agree with the sentiments.
However, your ensemble singing is AWFUL. (And I say this as someone with a poor singing voice myself.) No offence, but I wouldn't advise trading in your lab coats for a career in music. :-)

I don't think this song was ever intended as evangelism. It's actually fairly self-deprecating, but I suppose you're determined to see evolutionists as fascists no matter what's put before you.

It's a shame in many ways that evolutionists have resorted to the same mindless and intellectually inert evangelism of the most hard line fundamentalist theists.
Of course none of you see this. Too illiterate. Instead you prefer to blindly follow a theory that you actually have extremely limited knowledge of and to behave in ways as childish as this. Though such is the state of the Dawkins reading English Middle-Class.
Hail the return of the Aristocratic elite!

Very funny...the only problem is the absolutely horrible singing.

Yeah, facts that feel right rather than facts with mere supporting evidence.

Con esto creo que ya podemos cerrar el estadio, ¿no? :-)

Wonder how much of these "456 prophecies" was written after fact, self-fulfiling, based on faith or just made up...
