Don't get pissy with me, I'm only telling you what people are saying to me. But I do agree with them.

  • Family Guy seasons 1 - 4 were the best. The show was still watchable up until where Cleveland left the show. Almost every episode after that has just been god awful.

  • @mvp509 Yeah but what Family Guy does is spread a message. It spreads the message that 1. being an asshole is hilarious. 2. Being gay and drilling it into possibly heterosexual people is hilarious. 3. Liberalism is the way to go (Fair enough if you believe in it, but extremes won't do shit for this country). 4. You don't have to try, just bullshit and people will throw money at you. And lastly, 5. Religion is the worst thing ever.

I'm atheist and know that's stupid. Seth is a jackass.

  • It's an ok show but it doesn't suck.

  • @Metaridley17o I'm not even really mad at you. I like that you're giving me points, rather than saying I'm homosexual or that Seth is the greatest person ever. However, we do heavily disagree and it's not likely either of us will bend, so might as well stop wasting time on it.

  • @RyanKaufman We disagree on this issue, no sense arguing over it.

  • @Metaridley17o Just because something yields the consumer's favor, doesn't make it right. Go by Asian proverb in which "There are two paths. The right way, and the easy way."

Seth chooses to do the easy route and slap on Conway Twitty, have random musical numbers that drag on for 6 minutes, and then throw in some Democratic-powered statements with some religion and media shots here and there.

I'm not taking the messages from the show too extremely, I'm taking them exactly how they're given.

  • @RyanKaufman Im not sure I would call it "wasting," the show has been very successful and considering that Obama won the election chances are the political remarks are quite worth while for the show. I am more independent but I sway more to the democratic party, also I think that your taking the messages from the show too extremely.

  • @Metaridley17o But wasting 5 years and several seasons, alienating your fanbase into something smaller and more towards a younger and easily manipulated crowd doesn't strike me as revenge. Fair enough about the Fox jokes. I honestly don't care, despite my hatred of people who just attack a network because they're open with their opinions. Why continue to shove down our throats that atheism = eutopia and everyone who isn't a Liberal needs to be executed immediately? It's just stupidity.

  • @RyanKaufman I agree with you in part but I think more that the religon and politics factor came in after Fox first cancelled the show. I think Seth wants some sort of revenge and that rivaling all of Fox's opinions on a well known T.V. show will help him obtain that.

  • @Metaridley17o I agree, but it doesn't hold up for Family Guy. Seth literally turned the show into his personal venting box of politics and religion (and potential closet homosexuality).

I understand what you're trying to say, but as it stands, it's a rule of thumb, not an absolute. People do this for South Park and Futurama, NOT for Family Guy. SP and Fut. both haven't really changed, just took creative liberties. Family Guy has changed, and favors Seth's opinion over crass humor.
