Missy & "Puppy"

Just some clips of them playing yesterday afternoon. "Puppy" has no name yet.... I've had so many pets throughout my life (not just dogs), I'm running out of name ideas! I'm kind of thinking "Blondie" but haven't completely decided yet. Her personality may reveal a name to me on its own. ;)

Brought her home Saturday night. She's nine weeks old, and is a Husky/Shepard/Chow mix. Yeah, she's gonna be a big one!

Missy has separation anxiety, and she whines day and night, even when being petted and having tons of affection lavished on her. We've been planning on getting a puppy for Missy to "raise" and be her companion so that she'd be more happy and relaxed. So far it's doing the trick! She'll always be a high strung dog (albeit a sweetheart and very well behaved), but once the puppy started playing with Missy, she's been whining a lot less, and is simply acting like she's much more content. It's so wonderful to see her relax this much since Tama left!

ANYHOOO, I shot these clips so that Tom could get to see the puppy, because he won't be home yet till mid-to-late August. I'd marked this as "private" for him only, but he convinced me to make it public because they're just so cute! ;)

I think Missy is going to have to find another bed soon. Looks like the new addition has decided she's going to take it over...Guess you had to put Tama down???...VERY SAD, but sometimes I guess there's no other choice...
