Excellent movie tie-in (from Dizzy creators the Oliver twins no less!) of the hit movie on the Amstrad CPC. Only 3 stages, but each are completely different and excellently done with marvellous graphics, music and sfx. A great game at the time, professionally made.

  • Oh man this game was hard... So...Hard. Not quite as bad as " Big Trouble in Little China" though.....

  • @Wolfy2k4 Just need to play it a few times and get used to the layout on this level and move as quick as you can, the second level just get used to the baddie attack patterns ... the final level - just a little practice again and you'll soon do it :)

The Big Trouble In Little China game was bloody awful tho :(

  • i had it. wonderful. 1 hour to loading the game 15 minute toplay

  • @roaul83 Heh I remember the tape loading times not being good, especially as half the load time was loading up those stills from the movie!! Might as well have ditched them on the tape verison. Good memories of getting this on Xmas day and waiting excitedly to load - I wasn't disappointed.

  • I remember reading the review for this ins Amstrad Action magazine. They were really impressed with it, especially the graphics. It does look pretty good. Very slow though...

  • @andyukmonkey Even though it's slow, I think in this case the pace is just right.

  • Oh, and the Big Trouble In Little China videogame as an abomination...

  • If you paused the first level and typed in AYKROYD it gave you an invincible rope.

  • Christ if they where going to do the theme they could have atleast not bastardized it by using the right key!

  • This looks worse than Ghostbusters on the NES, which the AVGN totally made fun of.

  • Ah, i loved this game, i remember ditching the cupboard to play it before christmas...Loved to finish it, the end graphics were great..

  • @Neeklus I don't remember it forcing you to reload the levels again when you die - are you thinking of a different version on like the Speccy or C64?
