  • @ Mr. Alex If you knew the history here, Ritchie had wanted to do something different, and happened upon a minstrel group playing in a castle over in Germany . He loved them so much he offered his services on the SPOT...And was turned down! (I can't imagine turning down Blackmore) He then started his own minstrel style band and is HAPPY. So if you are a TRUE fan - be happy for him! I for one think it's cool to actually see him smiling and laughing in photos for a change!

  • great song - excellent !!!

  • If Richie feels good doing what he chooses,so do I :))

  • Ritchie Blackmore using playback?

Oh, no ... That fallen ...

The music is great, but seeing a living legend like Blackmore doing playback on a program like this is a real disappointment ...

  • I like the band and the song and ritchie is my favourite guitar player. But...

Playing in a TV show with playback... That's a shame.

  • GREAT!!!

what a style on that fender!!!

incredible, one of the best solo of Mr. Blackmore!!!

P.S. it reminds me Pictures Of Home, the same energy and intention in the solo!!

and the sound too is similar at Machine Head but more elegant, absolutely fantastic!!!

    just to learn from this!!

  • More "power" to Ritchie; if anyone has earned the right to do whatever makes them happy, it's him. If you don't like it, don't buy the album or a ticket. I was lucky enough to catch Blackmore's Night live in Cleveland in '99 though and sat front row. Not only did Ritchie give us beers out of his 12 pack of Becks, he also took requests! Met the man after the show and he was nice as can be!

  • with all respect but ritchie's wife is very beautiful

  • Is she sucking or blowing on that pipe?

  • this is cool !!

  • Weird but awesome nonetheless. Joan Osbourne's "St. Teresa" is much more moving, by the way.
