Ron Carter in character as The Phantom plays a full 7 minute medley of several numbers from the popular musical "Phantom of the Opera" on the newly installed organ at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, Marietta, GA. Filmed October 7, 2010. Opening and closing scenes a tribute to the original 1925 film.
Yes, I love the old WurliTzers, but this is an Allen GW-4 Electronic. Sounds simply great because Ron and friends did a magnificant job of "voicing" it to the theatre, There are several dozen speakers in real pipe chambers on either side of the procenium. If you can ever get to the Earl Smith Strand in Marietta, GA for a show, DO SO! (BTW we drive from North Carolina to attend).

I don't care what anybody says, NOTHING beats those beautiful old Wurlitzer pipe organs, like this one, they got in them old theaters and this is a great example of one in great condition.
