Got a 1984 maple neck Squier Strat, better than many USA made Fenders.
But...the real sound and tone is in player's fingers, heart and soul.

I see a few mentioning a competition or cutting heads kind of thing, I agree with those who shoot these ideas down. This is not a competition, BA loved and respected stevie immensely, this was probably one of BAs moat fun and profound memories.
